Pi Day 2026: Where to find pizza deals and more on March 14
    • March 11, 2026

Even people who aren’t great at math understand Pi Day.

Pi is what mathematicians call the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter. It is an irrational number that goes on forever after its decimal. It’s useful to scientists and astronomers because it’s “a fundamental part of the math that describes how the universe functions,” according to Baylor University.

Pi’s first three digits are 3.14.

Pi Day is always March 14 (third month, 14th day.) This year it falls on a Saturday.

It’s a good stay for STEM, with opportunities to learn about science and math. NASA, for example, has a web page called “10 Ways to Celebrate Pi Day.” NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in La Cañada Flintridge has more resources.

But who are we kidding? A lot of people are just interested in getting pizza for $3.14.

There are deals to be had out there from restaurant chains, but many of them are for rewards members. Most are for pizza or include a pizza purchase, but there are a few outliers, including dessert pie offers and even one quesadilla.

Here are offers that have been announced at restaurant websites, in social media or in news releases. All are good on only March 14 only unless stated otherwise. It’s a good idea to check details on websites to make sure you’re getting what you want.
