Nearly 2 million ballots are on their way to Orange County voters
    • May 2, 2026

Orange County voters, your June 2 primary ballot is on the way.

Nearly 2 million ballots were picked up early Saturday morning at the county registrar of voters’ office in Santa Ana by the U.S. Postal Service and mailed to registered voters. Ballots should arrive in mailboxes as early as Monday, May 4, which is also when ballot drop boxes around the county will be open for eager voters.

There are multiple ways to cast a ballot when ready: Return it via the U.S. Postal Service (no postage is required, but it must be postmarked on or before June 2 and received by your county elections office by June 9), place it in a drop box around the county or take it to a vote center, when those open later this month.
