Paul McCartney announces a pair of shows at LA’s intimate Fonda Theatre
    • March 17, 2026

Just months after Paul McCartney wrapped up his Got Back World Tour of stadiums and arenas, the Beatles singer-songwriter will get back on stage for a pair of shows at the much smaller Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles on Friday and Saturday, March 27-28.

How much smaller? Well, the Fonda holds 1,200 people compared to the 11,000 capacity of Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert where McCartney played October 2025 and about 70,000 for SoFi Stadium in Inglewood which McCartney hit in May 2022 as the Got Back tour was just underway.

In other words, consider yourself very, very lucky if you manage to snag tickets to one of these two new shows, his first since Got Back wrapped up at the end of November, 2025.

Here’s how to take your shot. Register now through 10 p.m. Pacific on Wednesday, March 18 at AXS.com/paulmccartney. You can register one time for each night. If your registration is selected for a chance to buy tickets you’ll get an invitation email.

Those who receive invitations to purchase tickets will be given a window of time within which to purchase tickets. It’s not a guarantee you’ll get any, however, because they may sell out before your place in the queue comes up.

If you get tickets, well, we’ll probably hear you screaming like fans in the audience at “The Ed Sullivan Show” in February 1964.

If you don’t? “Paul McCartney: Man on the Run,” a new documentary about McCartney’s life in the ’70s after leaving the Beatles to go solo and form the Wings arrived on Prime Video a few weeks ago. It’s very good, if not, you know, Paul in a very small theater in Hollywood.
