    In-N-Out Burger partners with KROQ-FM
    • April 21, 2026

In-N-Out Burger has acquired the naming rights for the Sound Space at KROQ, according to a news release on the website of Audacy, owner of Los Angeles’ alt-rock radio station, 106.7 FM.

The venue is near KROQ’s studio in a 28-story high-rise at 5670 Wilshire Blvd. It’s in the Miracle Mile district of Los Angeles, near LACMA, the Petersen Automotive Museum and the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures.

It’s an intimate space but superstars have played there, often in private performances for “lucky fans.” They include Sting, Jack White, Green Day, Linkin Park and Coldplay.

The news release quotes Kevin Weatherly, KROQ’s senior programming director, as saying two iconic SoCal brands are “joining forces with the sole purpose of delivering unforgettable live music moments.”

Prior sponsors of the Sound Space have included Red Bull, DTS and Helpful SoCal Honda Dealers.

Audacy also announced that KROQ’s Megan Holiday would host the next Rock 2 Freedom, an annual fundraising concert put on by In-N-Out owner and president Lynsi Snyder-Ellingson and her husband Sean Ellingson to combat substance abuse.

The news release said it will take place Oct. 24, at the Wiltern, an art deco venue that dates from 1931. It’s 2½ miles east of the Sound Space at 3790 Wilshire Blvd.

Slave 2 Nothing, the Ellingson’s nonprofit, has not currently updated its websites with upcoming events.

Rock 2 Freedom features big-name bands as well as .48 Special, In-N-Out’s “family band” that includes the Ellingsons. Its 2025 show took place at the Hollywood Palladium and featured Papa Roach.

“In-N-Out Burger has a strong synergy with the Southern California experience, just like KROQ,” Lynsi Snyder-Ellingson is quoted as saying in the news release. “I’m truly excited for this new opportunity, especially because both music and KROQ have always been special to me and such huge parts of my life.”
