The Ford celebrates Mexican music with a three-part summer series
    • July 30, 2026

The Ford is celebrating the sounds of Mexico this summer with a three-part musical series that ranges from romantic music to folk sounds to women in mariachi.

The Mexican Night Series launches with the venue’s popular  Boleros De Noche, which is celebrating its 10-year anniversary at The Ford. The night of slow, emotionally driven ballads  happens Saturday, Aug. 1 and features Grammy-winning artist iLe, a Puerto Rican singer-songwriter who will be performing from her latest album “Como las Canto Yo.” Opening the evening is Voz Bohemia, a Los Angeles-based trío romántico rooted in bolero and ranchera.

Then on Aug. 21, Tercera Raíz  performs African-driven dance music and storytelling pieces. The series concludes with a mariachi party on Sept. 5 with a performance dubbed  “¡Viva La Tradición! LA’s Mujeres Divinas,” on Sept. 5.

People at the closing show can expect a vibrant night of music delivered by all-women groups who will also be joined by a dance performance by Ballet Folklórico Ollín. Participating mariachi groups include Las Colibrí, Mariachi Las Catrinas and Grupo Bella.
