McDonald’s launches ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ meals
    • March 31, 2026

McDonald’s is putting the “ba-da-ba-ba-ba” into K-pop with new limited-item items debuting Tuesday, March 31.

The fast food giant is offering what its publicists call its first-ever dueling meals, both based on the Oscar-winning “KPop Demon Hunters.” There’s also a K-pop McFlurry

The promotion, however, appeared to be off to a rocky start on Tuesday morning, with the McDonald’s app showing items “currently unavailable” at locations in Southern California, according to a spot check of restaurants and social media postings.

The Huntr/x Meal is based on the animated film’s title characters, Rumi, Mira and Zoey, who are K-pop superstars but also demon hunters.

It features 10 Chicken McNuggets; Ramyeon McShaker Fries (that is. McDonald’s Fries that come with a special seasoning packet), two limited-edition sauces; and a medium soft drink.

The Saja Boys Breakfast Meal is based on a fictional boy band in the movie whose members are really demons in disguise.

It’s a breakfast meal with an Egg McMuffin with a Spicy Saja Sauce that’s the same color as the Big Mac Secret Sauce but has a bigger kick. It also includes a Hash Brown and a small soft drink or coffee.

The meals come in a special box and include two collectible cards in glittery packets. One card  features a band and the other features Derpy the Tiger, another character in the film, plus an “exclusive access” QR code. It can be scanned in the McDonald’s app by April 26 to unlock “Demon Hunters” content and join in a “battle for the fans” to see which fictional group is more popular with McDonald’s diners.

We were able to find the Saja breakfast at about $9.49 plus tax. The Huntr/x meal became easier to find it the afternoon. It costs $12.19-$13.49, depending on location.

Some restaurants are selling the fries by themselves for around $4.89.

On top of all that, there’s a Derpy McFlurry sold separately. It features vanilla soft serve topped with blackberry popping pearls and berry sauce and costs around $4.89 for regular size or $3.19 for a mini.

McDonald’s is still serving its limited-time Big Arch burger, and a “Super Mario Galaxy Movie” Happy Meal launched last week in advance of the film, which opens Wednesday, April 1.
