    • February 18, 2026

Travelers heading west from Lake Elsinore on the Ortega Highway will soon be able to start their journey with a Double-Double.

In-N-Out Burger will open a new restaurant near State Route 74 on Thursday, Feb. 19, according to a news release from the Southern California chain.

The drive-thru is at 18490 Dexter Ave. It is also close to the 15 Freeway. Nearby businesses include a Walmart Supercenter.

This restaurant is No. 433 in the chain. Restaurant No. 432 opened in Bell last month.

Lake Elsinore already has an In-N-Out at 331 Railroad Canyon. It is store No. 54 and it opened in 1989.

In-N-Out usually announces new restaurants about eight months in advance on the “opening soon” page of its website, but this location couldn’t be found on the website on Wednesday.

The drive-thru has a dining room that can seat about 84 customers and a patio for another 32 people.

It will have a staff of about 100 people with salaries starting at $22 an hour.

Regular hours will be 10:30 a.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. Friday and Saturday. But if a crowd gathers, staffs sometimes let in customers early on opening days.

Sometimes In-N-Out fans show up early angling to be the first customer in line and be awarded a coveted In-N-Out coin, which can be redeemed for food. Most recipients keep them.

In-N-Out also often sets out a merchandise table at store openings, selling collectible items that usually aren’t available in restaurants.

Incidentally, In-N-Out restaurants offer free hot chocolate to kids on rainy days.
