    • April 30, 2026

Margaritas don’t automatically come with straws, but here’s one that needs it.

Just in time for Cinco de Mayo, Chili’s Grill & Bar has introduced a Popping Boba Marg. It’s the casual restaurant chain’s margarita of the month for May, but it came out on Thursday, April 30, which is National Boba Day.

It’s Chili’s first boba margarita, according to a news release from the Texas chain. It is made with Lunazul Blanco Tequila, Deep Eddy Lemon Vodka, Monin Watermelon, house-made sour and Dragonfruit Popping Boba. It sells for $6 and comes with a wide straw to pull in the boba bubbles floating under ice cubes.

Other featured drinks include two Patrón Frozen Margs: Flamingo Freeze, made with Tito’s Handmade Vodka with Owen’s Prickly Pear, and Arctic Drift, made with Malibu Coconut Rum, pineapple juice and Blue Curaçao.
