Kesha announces The Freedom Tour with a night at the Kia Forum in May
    • March 24, 2026

Dance-pop star Kesha announced her return to the road this spring with The Freedom Tour, which kicks off on Saturday, May 23 in Chula Vista before landing at the Kia Forum one day later on Sunday, May 24.

“This summer we are reclaiming our bodies, our voices, and our joy,” Kesha said in a written statement on Monday, March 23. “We have survived. Now we get to be free. Let’s be free together. I want to know what freedom feels like, with all of you.”

From 2014 until 2023, Kesha and her former producer, Dr. Luke, were involved in several complicated and bitter lawsuits. She alleged he’d abused her; he alleged she’d defamed him. In 2023, a confidential settlement was reached.

Since then, Kesha has increased her output both in the studio and on stage. In July 2025, she released her sixth studio album “Period,” and followed it with a run of shows titled “The [Bleeps] Out Tour.” The Freedom Tour arrives as an extension of that.

“I’ve lived through the fire,” Kesha said in the statement. “This tour is about what comes after. Freedom isn’t just leaving something behind — it’s discovering that what you have lived through has made you magnificently who you are.”

Chromeo and Sizzy Rocket open for Kesha when the tour opens at California’s North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre in Chula Vista on May 23 and reaches the Kia Forum in Inglewood a day later on Sunday, May 24. The tour continues around the country into August.

Tickets will be available through a Citi presale starting at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 24, with other presales following until 10 a.m. Friday, March 27 when the general on-sale opens.
