‘Bling Empire’ star Mimi Morris lists Dana Point contemporary for $20M
    • March 18, 2026

A Dana Point estate owned by Mimi Morris, a cast member of the since-canceled Netflix series “Bling Empire,” is on the market for $19.9 million.

The 6,312-square-foot home has six bedrooms and seven bathrooms. An open-concept layout spans all three floors, accessible via staircase or elevator.

Records viewed at PropertyShark.com show the reality star and her husband, Donald E. Morris, chief executive officer of Morris Group International, bought the property in October 2018 for just over $8.8 million.

Designed by architect Horst Noppenberger and completed in 2012, the contemporary mansion nestles a quarter-acre lot in the guard-gated community of The Strand at Headlands. A specialized steel frame allows for fewer interior walls and supports floor-to-ceiling glass that offers unobstructed ocean and Catalina Island views.

Inside, the gourmet kitchen boasts minimalist cabinetry, an island breakfast bar with seating for four and a butler’s pantry.

The kitchen opens to the great room, anchored by a stone fireplace.

Sliding doors on the oceanside connect the main living area to a deck with a glass railing overlooking the backyard.

One flight of stairs down leads to the built-in barbecue center and dining patio, while a second flight descends to the pool and spa level fed by a courtyard pond with fountains above.

A family room with an outdoor fireplace divides the pool and spa.

The home includes two primary suites, including one with a wraparound deck with a fireplace, a mini bar with a sink and fridge, an luxe bathroom with a soaking tub and a large walk-in closet.

A subterranean garage for up to four cars, plus a separate garage with two golf carts, security and smart home technology round out the offering.

Residents of The Strand at Headlands also have access to the community clubhouse pool, spa, gym and recreation room, as well as direct access to The Strand Beach.

Alexandra Rubow and Josh Altman of Douglas Elliman have the listing.

Mimi Morris joined the cast of “Bling Empire” in the second season, bringing her rags-to-riches story with her. While her humble beginnings in Vietnam distinguished her from her castmates, she certainly made a splash during her $350,000 birthday bash sponsored by Dolce & Gabbana, which featured celebrity friends like Vietnamese actress Ho Ngoc Ha. Her husband also appeared on the series, often dubbed the real-life “Crazy Rich Asians” due to its launch following the success of the 2018 blockbuster film.

After three seasons of showcasing the cast’s extravagant lifestyles and petty rivalries, Netflix canceled “Bling Empire” in 2022, along with its just-launched “Bling Empire: New York.”
