KINGSTON, Jamaica — Gabriel Pec added two goals Thursday night to his hat trick in the first leg last week as the Galaxy trounced Mount Pleasant FA on its home turf, 3-0, to complete a 6-0 aggregate victory in their CONCACAF Champions Cup Round of 16 matchup.

The Galaxy advance to face Mexico’s Toluca in the quarterfinals next month. Toluca defeated San Diego FC, 4-0, on Wednesday night in Mexico to rally for a 6-3 aggregate win.

Joao Klauss opened the scoring for the Galaxy on Thursday off an 18th-minute corner kick that bounced in the middle off the box. Klauss headed it in from 6 yards out.

Pec broke in along down the right side and rolled a left-footed shot inside the far post in the 61st minute.

In the 87th minute, the Galaxy’s Harbor Miller was free on the left side for a shot that was saved. The rebound landed at the edge of the 6-yard box, where Pec fired it into the vacated net.
