    These Southern California sports bars made Yelp’s Top 100 for 2026

    Just in time for the FIFA World Cup 2026, the online review site Yelp has revealed its Top 100 Sports Bars for 2026.

    There are five Los Angeles County restaurants included on the list, two in Orange County and two in San Diego County, including No. 1 on the list, Shakespeare Pub & Grille.

    The highest-rated restaurant near SoFi Stadium, where matches will take place, is N17 The Lane, at No. 11.

    Restaurants on the list boast elevated pub food, multiple TVs, and passionate sports fans, according to the report’s introduction. The list was compiled from restaurants in Yelp’s sports bar category described with a significant number of relevant keywords.

    Takeaways include rising quality of food, with sports bars becoming “culinary destinations in their own right,” the popularity of English and Irish pubs, and spaces designed for fans with such amenities as private viewing rooms.

    Los Angeles County

    N17 The Lane, No. 11 on the list, is a tribute to London’s Tottenham Hotspur Football Club; the name comes from a London postcode. The restaurant opened in 2024 and serves brunch, lunch, and dinner. Yelp users praise dishes ranging from fish and chips to bahn mi, as well as a “super dope back room.”

    No. 13 is Ye Olde Kings Head at 116 Santa Monica Blvd., Santa Monica, near the Third Street Promenade.     No. 36 is Lucky Baldwin’s Pub at 17 S. Raymond Ave., Pasadena. It calls itself an authentic British pub with items such as fish and chips, bangers and mash, and Scotch eggs. The vibe is lively during soccer matches, according to Yelp reviews. luckybaldwins.com

    O’Brien’s Irish Pub & Restaurant, at 2226 Wilshire Blvd, Santa Monica, comes in at No. 41. It calls itself the home of the Manchester United Fan Club with “sports, sports, more sports” on 15 TVs.     The Harp Inn, at No. 29, is at 130 E 17th St., Costa Mesa. It’s an Irish pub with live music and a lot of live soccer on its calendar. The menu includes a full Irish breakfast and corned beef and Swiss sandwiches. harpinn.com

    San Diego County

    Shakespeare Pub & Grille, which tops the list, is prized for its fish and chips, as well as a Sunday roast with Yorkshire pudding. Yelp calls it a go-to for soccer fans and Anglophiles alike. It’s at 3701 India St., San Diego. shakespearepub.com
