14 cheapest days to get into Disneyland before summer starts

The relatively slow season at Disneyland between the end of spring break and the start of summer is also one of the cheapest times of the year to visit the Anaheim theme park when bargain hunters can save $120 on tickets.

Tickets to Disneyland or Disney California Adventure cost $104 during 14 select dates in April, May and June — the lowest price in the theme park resort’s seven-tiered pricing system.

Disneyland introduced tiered pricing in 2016 with lower prices during slower periods of the year and higher prices during the busiest seasons. Since then, the park has expanded the number of ticket tiers and raised prices on the top end to $224 while holding the lowest price steady at the $104 level.

Daily tickets for Disneyland or DCA can be purchased for $104 on the following dates:

April 21, 22, 23, 28, 29 and 30
May 5, 6, 12 and 13
June 1, 2, 3 and 4

All of the $104 dates fall on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday except for June 1 — which is a Monday.

Disneyland and Disney California Adventure are also offering kids parkhopper tickets for $50 good May 22 through Sept. 7.

Bargain hunters have already snapped up all the available reservations for $50 kids tickets on the dates in May and June when adults can get into the parks for $104.

Most of the $50 kids ticket reservations are also gone for the 10 dates in May and June when adults can get into the parks for $129 — the next highest-priced tier.

But not all of them. You can still make reservations for June 9 or 10 — the last two $129 ticket days before Summer starts.

That means a family of four with two adults and two kids can get into Disneyland or DCA for $358. But you’ll have to move fast before the cheap dates disappear.

Right now is one of three periods on Disneyland’s tiered-pricing calendar when the park typically lowers admission to rock bottom levels.

Bargain hunters who don’t act now will have to wait until a stretch of weekdays in September and November for their next chance at $104 Disneyland tickets.

The third time of year when Disneyland tickets are typically at their lowest prices happens after the Christmas season ends in January and February.
