    • April 6, 2026

The Fleet Science Center is organizing three days of events to observe the return of NASA’s Artemis II mission back to Earth.

Four astronauts were sent on a 10-day trip around the moon from Florida’s Space Center on Wednesday. The three American and one Canadian astronauts are traveling past the moon and another 4,000 miles beyond, before returning to Earth and landing in the Pacific Ocean.

The public can view the Artemis II flight back and live splashdown on Fleet Science Center Heikoff Giant Dome screen.

The broadcast will be shown April 9 to 11 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m each day. The live splashdown event is scheduled for April 10 from 3 to 5:30 p.m. and separate tickets are required, according to the Fleet Science Center.
