    Baseball roundup: Walk-off HR gives Newport Harbor a sweep of Los Alamitos

    Henry Mann hit a walk-off, two-run home run for Newport Harbor in a 5-3 win over Los Alamitos in a Sunset League game Friday at Newport Harbor High.

    Newport Harbor (15-2, 10-2) swept the season series against Los Alamitos and has won six consecutive games.

    UC Santa Barbara signee Gavin Guy had two hits with a double and a RBI for the Sailors and Brooks Francis drove in a run.

    Grant Horsley pitched three innings of relief with three strikeouts to get the win for Newport Harbor and Ryan Williams allowed one run in four innings.

    Jackson Gomes hit a home run for Los Alamitos (5-13, 2-10) and Will Adams drove in a run. Rowan Shelley went 2 for 3 with a stolen base and two runs scored.

    In the South Coast League:

    Dana Hills 7, San Clemente 3: Ryan Georgia hit two doubles and drove in two runs for Dana Hills in a home win over San Clemente.

    Dana Hills (13-5, 2-1) won the season series against San Clemente after losing the first game of the series on Tuesday. Ryan See hit a home run and had two RBIs for the Dolphins and Luke Blankenship had two hits with a stolen base and two RBIs.

    Gavin Giese had eight strikeouts in five innings for the Dolphins and allowed three runs. Ely Olesen pitched two shutout innings of relief.

    Kai Cesare went 2 for 3 with a triple and a RBI for San Clemente (11-8, 2-4). Mason Heath had a run-scoring single and Dax Conrad stole a base.

    Trabuco Hills 3, Aliso Niguel 2: Trabuco Hills won the series against Aliso Niguel by beating the Wolverines Friday on the road.

    Skyler Sims pitched four shutout innings of relief for Trabuco Hills (7-8, 4-2) with two hits allowed and two strikeouts. Slayder Garrido went 2 for 4 with a stolen base and a RBI. Everett Schweer allowed one earned run in three innings and drove in a run on offense. Josh Fitch had two hits with a double and a stolen base.

    Carson Etnire hit a home run for Aliso Niguel (11-5-2, 2-3-1). Chad Alderman and Henry Drews each hit doubles and Alderman allowed one earned run in five innings on the mound.

    In the Sunset League:

    Huntington Beach 11, Corona del Mar 1: Dane Cunningham had a home run and four RBIs for Huntington Beach in a blowout win over Corona del Mar.

    Elyjah Mason had a triple and four RBIs for Huntington Beach (11-2-1, 9-0). Jared Grindlinger, who committed to Tennessee on Wednesday, went 3 for 3 with a RBI and Parker Leoff had a double with three runs scored.

    Tanner Brown allowed one run with four strikeouts in four innings for the Oilers.

    Stevie Jones went 2 for 3 with a double and a RBI for Corona del Mar (6-10, 1-8).

    Edison 5, Fountain Valley 4: Noah Hunter pitched a complete game with six strikeouts for Edison to clinch the season series against Fountain Valley.

    Hunter also had two hits with a RBI for Edison (9-10, 5-7). Cody Kruis had a double with a RBI and Jordan Alverez had a RBI.

    Nixon Hunt hit a home run with a stolen base and two RBIs for Fountain Valley (10-4, 5-4). Ivan Tellez had two hits with a RBI and Isaac Lomeli had a stolen base with a RBI.

    In the Sea View League:

    San Juan Hills 5, Capistrano Valley 4: San Juan Hills hit two home runs in a win over Capistrano Valley to win the season series against the Cougars.

    Grant Bailey hit a home run, a double and three RBIs for San Juan Hills (13-8, 4-2). Garrett Gandolfo had a home run with two RBIS and Noah Wisneski had two hits with a double.

    Cal commit Talon Spencer hit a home run for Capo Valley (6-10, 3-3) and Brock Rainis had a double with two RBIs.

    Beckman 5, El Toro 4: Jack David had a great game pitching and hitting for Beckman in a win over El Toro

    David pitched four shutout innings with three strikeouts and went 2 for 3 with a home run and two RBIs at the plate. Sean Franco had two hits for Beckman (7-5-1, 1-2) and Kai Carney had a hit with a stolen base.

    Torrey Tombleson had a home run with two RBIs for El Toro (7-8-1, 3-3) and Nathan Broesamle had two hits with a double. Brayden Penrod added a RBI and a stolen base.

    In the North Hills League:

    Sunny Hills 6, Esperanza 3: Oliver Botch allowed one earned run in six innings with five strikeouts for Sunny Hills in a win over Esperanza.

    Diego Hernandez went 2 for 4 with two RBIs and Riley Shaw went 2 for 4 with a double and two RBIs for Sunny Hills (7-7-2, 3-2). Cameron Morris added two hits with a RBI.

    In the Golden West League:

    Buena Park 7, Kennedy 4: Luis Roman pitched five innings, allowed no earned runs and had six strikeouts for Buena Park in a win over Kennedy.

    George De Avila went 3 for 4 with two runs and a RBI for Buena Park (5-11, 3-3). Adrian Rolon went 2 for 4 with a stolen base and two RBIs. Isaac Rojas stole a base and had a RBI.
